About the role
At Face44, the build is where craft is either kept or lost. We're looking for a Webflow Developer who treats implementation as design work - someone who can take a layout and reproduce it pixel-perfectly, then make it move with the kind of smoothness and restraint you see in award-winning sites.
This role is for someone with a genuine eye. You notice when spacing is off by two pixels, when an easing curve feels cheap, when a transition lands a beat too late. You can't build beautiful work without being able to see it first, so design sensibility isn't a bonus here, it's the job.
What we're looking for
A strong eye for design (typography, spacing, rhythm, hierarchy, and motion). You can tell the difference between "fine" and "right," and you won't ship until it's right.
- Deep, proven Webflow experience: CMS, components, interactions and animations, localisation, and a clean, scalable class system.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, enough to go beyond Webflow's defaults when the design demands it.
- Sharp problem-solving. You hit constraints and find elegant ways through them rather than settling for the obvious workaround.
- Clear communication. You can explain a technical trade-off, push back on a design when something won't hold up, and keep a project legible to the people around you.
- A habit of looking outward. You're constantly studying interactive work online, pulling apart how the best sites are built, and bringing that back into your own.
- A collaborative team player. You take feedback well, give it constructively, and understand that the best work usually comes from more than one set of eyes.
